Team Valor Adds New Filly to Barn

Team Valor announced yesterday the details of it's latest purchase; a 4 year old filly who has raced in England and Germany. The 4 year old filly known as Doggerbank has two wins in five lifetime starts, along with three second place finished. In her most recent start, Doggerbank finished 2nd in a Listed stakes race. Her most recent start also earned her a Timeform of 105.

Team Valor's plan is to keep her in England for one more Stakes race and hopefully chalk up her first stakes victory. Then the plan is to ship her to North America for a start at Saratoga sometime in August.

Doggerbank is being valued and syndicated by Team Valor at $440,000. This is obviously not the price they paid for her, but it is most likely a mark-up based on a certain percentage that Team Valor has set standard for these types of syndications. It is very very tough for any horse to earn that kind of money throughout their racing career, so this may be one investment you try not make impulsively.
